Introduction of Albert Schlatter

Albert Schlatter was bo in 1954 in a small village near Schaffhausen, Switzerland.After school in 1970 he started a 4 year apprenticeship in mechanics at Georg Fischer AG in SchaffhausenAt that time he had already gained contact to the shot-blasting and shot-peening techniques.His first job was in the R&D department for shot-blasting and shot-peening systems at Georg Fischer AG.Then Albert installed and commissioned machines for customers in a large number of different countries.After further education in mechanical engineering and economics, he was responsible for many years for after sales service.Then the company’s ownership, organisation and company name in Schaffhausen changed to Georg Fischer DISA AG and finally to DISA Industrie AG.Since 1999 Albert has been working for DISA Industrie AG’s sales department for shot-blasting, shot- and stress-peening equipment; mainly in blast wheel technology.There he is responsible for systems to be sold to the markets in France, UK, Iran, Switzerland, French speaking countries in Africa and a few customers in Germany.Albert Schlatter has attended different MFN meetings and has already been the author of articles in the Metal Finishing News.
